Group A Work Health and Safety
The function and purpose of the work, health and safety units is to train the student the skills and knowledge required to work in a manner that is healthy and safe in relation to self and others and to respond to emergency incidents. the units also train people to monitor the organisation’s work health and safety (WHS) policies, procedures and programs as part of a small work team.
There are two possible units that the student may study, the BSBWHS201 Contribute to health and safety of self and others and BSBWHS301 Maintain workplace safety.
